  1. Congratulations on your new blog Scott!
Your choice of of a male Wood Duck in the banner is just lovely. I know how tough it can be to get close to them as we have them in our back yard water way. A wonderful sight to see a Common Redpoll and hope for the Hoary this year too. I look forward to seeing more images and reading about your adventures. I wish you lots of luck!

    • Thank you so much Mardi!!
I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and I have to say that seeing yours was what inspired me to get this going, plus seeing the Redpoll while stuck inside during a blizzard – what a great backyard bird to start off the Blog with!!
I’m looking forward to updating folks with some hopefully nice images of birds and places and stories. I’ve really enjoyed yours.
Thanks again Mardi and hope to see you and Towny in the field!!
      Scott
